“Every work of art we create is the culmination of every experience we have consumed before.” This quote was a driving force in my selection process for the “Sights & Sounds” Exhibit. I juried each piece individually to see if the visual work of art stimulated other senses or brought different sights, sounds, aromas, tastes or feelings to mind. In doing so we ended up with a collection of 34 artworks that I think really represent the idea that artistic expression is a cycle of inspiration, creation, and interpretation and I hope this collection of artwork continues that cycle for the viewer.
