Exhibits

The Main Gallery showcases a rotating schedule of diverse art exhibits, artist talks & demos, film screenings, and opening receptions. Emerging and established artists find a unique and inviting space in which to share their creative vision with the community.

Youth Classes

Small-group instruction allows students of all ages and abilities to stretch their imaginations, experiment with new techniques, and learn new skills in an encouraging environment.

Adult Classes

Many of our instructors are well-known, established artists who come with years of artistic experience. Our classes & workshops provide opportunities for adults of all ages to master mediums, establish rapport with an instructor and meet other creative people.

All Ages Comedy

Bring Your Own Improv (BYOI) performs every Friday night! This interactive improv show welcomes voluntary audience participation! You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved with us on stage.

Community

WCFA connects all ages and abilities through numerous forms of educational programs and cultural experiences. We are always looking for local community members to be a part of our mission.

The Warwick Center for the Arts (WCFA) is a multi-disciplinary community art space for all ages and abilities to engage in arts & cultural experiences.

Art Classes, Camps & Workshops

Education is life-long — and creative exploration is key at any time in that journey. Here at WCFA, children and adults of all ages explore mediums, engage with instructors, meet other creative minds, and find new friends. Our instructors offer technical guidance and encouragement to stretch minds and artistic skills – we provide the tools, they bring the creativity!

Now recruiting volunteers for summer camp

Do you love art and enjoy working with kids? Earn volunteer service hours while learning, playing and doing important work to support the WCFA April & Summer Vacation Art Camps. Volunteers ages 14 and up are welcome to apply. Help is needed to assist instructors and young artists in the classroom.

Responsibilities include assisting art instructors with set up, clean up, material prep and artistic guidance. Camps are typically held Mon-Fri during school vacations from 9am to 3pm. Volunteer schedules are flexible and those that complete a minimum of 10 hours of service receive a letter verifying community service and potential letter of reference for college applications!

Exhibit Opening & Masquerade Party to celebrate our 50th!

Guests are encouraged to come decked out in their wildest finery. Don’t have a mask? We will have unique masks created by our Arts Access students available for a small donation. Inspired by our exhibit on view, which asks, “What does fifty mean to you?” The night will explore the multifaceted significance of this iconic number through art, entertainment, and celebration.
