WCFA connects all ages and abilities to art with exhibits, educational programs, and cultural events in a warm and welcoming space.
Emerging and established artists also find a unique and inviting space in which to share their creative vision with the community.
The Kentish Guards Artillery Armory located in historic Apponaug Village has housed WCFA formerly Warwick Museum of Art since 1976—making it the oldest arts center in Kent County.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building has been transformed into a thriving arts center with generous grants from The City of Warwick and The Champlin Foundations.
Board & Staff
For nearly 40 years WCFA has been run by an active, volunteer board of directors. Board members keenly appreciate how the arts can enrich communities.
A part-time Director manages daily operations. Board and staff strive to offer the community a variety of creative arts experiences.
