Workshop Description:

In an encouraging and friendly environment, participants will be invited to consider some of their most cherished moments, big and small. Reflecting on the poem, You Can’t Have it All, by Barbara Ras, participants will be guided through discussion, a personal writing exercise, and leave with their own original poem.

Through mindful self-exploration and expression, we all can discover how life, even with its heartaches and headaches, has much to offer. We can’t have it all, but we can have this – and “this” can be very good. Mindful poetry with positivity and purpose.

About Hannah: Hannah Little earned a BFA in Creative Writing in 2020. She served as an AmeriCorps member in Providence, RI. While writing poetry at every opportunity, Hannah also works for St. Elizabeth’s/Green House Homes in East Greenwich, RI.

Hannah began a personal journey toward greater self-awareness and healing in 2021. Life events, as well as aspects of mindfulness meditation, are reflected in her insightful and beautiful poetry. The Still Together Mindfulness Meditation Community is grateful for Hannah’s recitation of her original poetry, which she offers as part of occasional meditation sessions.
